This time last year we were tracking 781 sales regionally. Month to date, we are at 369, for a sales volume that at 47.2% of last year, or down 52.8%. The red line here is where we are last year at this time.
What does this mean for buyers? More opportunity (and I think more to come). If you are buying right now, buy for the long haul. If you are selling a home, expect longer days on the market and more competition.
